Global Marine Michigan Pro recap

On the second weekend of July, 2011April Coble-Eller looked the extremely solid and consistent on her A2 which resulted in a large performance. After laying down solid scores throughout the prelims, Coble-Eller made it to the head-to-head finals and took bronze for the weekend.  Great finish, April's obviously still got skills.

April thrashin

Will Asher had an amazing weekend pumping up the crowd early by running deep into 41' off in the preliminary round.  With countless money turns and many early 39' off passes, Willy took silver.  Another solid podium finish for the slalom phenom from Lincoln, England.

Willy 4@41

Willy pre-emptive strike

Onlookers were surprised to see Jon Travers fall around 6@39 in the first round due to his fluidmotion hardshell boot prematurely releasing, as he was strong and flawless in the course before this.  In the second round, Travers was equally on top of his game as he easily ran 39 and put up a score in early 41, but was just squeaked out of the finals.

Marcus Brown showed a great returned to form by putting up a score into 41 and just missing the finals.  Marcus threw down some knowledge on the announcer's stand alongside Tad all weekend to the thousands of spectators.

Syndicate was also repped by pro skiers Breanne Dodd, Karina Nowlan, Matteo Luzzeri, and Claire Lise Welter.
