KARINA NOWLAN

Although Karina Nowlan was born and raised in Australia, she has spent recent years touring around the world, exploring and training with the world’s best.  Her smooth relaxed style on the water matches her easy going personality off the water.  Nowlan’s unique chilled style has proven successful as she has quickly become one of the top skiers in the world herself. Now traveling between Vancouver, Canada and Orlando, Florida, Karina remains on skis throughout the year (be it on snow or water).

Mini AutoBiography:

I was born in Newcastle, Australia. It was just my dad and I when I first began to waterski at the age of four. After watching a pro tournament in my home town when I was nine, I realized what i wanted to do. ..Slalom!  I moved to Stoney Park Water sports at a very young age to allow myself the best opportunity I possibly could as making it as an elite athlete. I then went to school and worked at the ski school to support my passion. Since then my life has included waterskiing, traveling and meeting new people from all over the world.  My love and passion for skiing is what keeps me going!

I currently live in Vancouver, Canada and travel to and from Florida to soak up the sun and train hard in the months I cannot in Canada. I have many training places around the world ... and so many amazing people helping me along the way.  I am a former World Record Holder and Masters Champion. When I am not waterskiing I am hitting up Whistler in British Columbia and snow skiing.  I am absolutely floored to be with Team Syndicate. The team I have supporting me is amazing and i can't wait to see what unravels next....
